Summer is my favorite season of the year. This summer I went to Bridgehampton, Long Island to visit family. We went to the beach every day. The best part was going to Splish Splash Water Park. The rides were so cool. Another fun thing was swimming at the Vo Tech pool. I have also been practicing with my travel softball team. Softball is my favorite sport. It always seems to be the hottest day when I have practice. We went to a family reunion. There were 120 people there. I met cousins I never knew before. It was a fun day. Summer vacation is going too fast, but I look forward to my new class. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NICOLE!
Thank you for your letter. I was so surprised and happy to get it in the mail. I am glad you had a good summer and wonderful vacation. My friend also has a carin terrier. His name is Brodie. We have a dog named Zachary Maxwell. He is a shitzu/poodle mix and is almost 2 years old. I also have a beta fish named Tinkerbell. My little brother Matthew has a fish too. His name is Spiderman and is also a beta fish.

My summer was so busy I don’t even know where to begin. My sister and I went to Jones Beach in Long Island, New York. Our family also went to Virginia where we visited Busch Gardens, I loved the rides! We went camping and I did a lot of activities like Karate and Birthday Parties, On our family reunion I visited my cousins and my grandparents a lot. I love summer, but it has to end. I am can’t wait to meet you in September!!!

Thank you for your letter. My name is Dean, and I am 9 years old. I love playing hockey and goalie for Vernon. I joined a hockey clinic during the summer. I also spent my summer swimming,riding my dirt bike, and going on day trips with my family. My cousins Nikki and Dillon came over a lot this summer. I went down the shore for a week. I love the rides. I had a lot of fun with my family and friends. Summer is the best! I am looking forward to being in your class.

Thank you for your letter! My summer was very active. One day in July I went down the shore with my grandparents, parents, aunt, uncle, and my eight month old baby cousin. We had a lot of fun playing games, going in the water and eating ice cream. As part of my family’s vacation we spent two days in a gigantic indoor/outdoor water park with a hotel in it. This water park was called The Great Wolf Lodge and it is in Pennsylvania. As soon as we unpacked we went straight towards the water. There were rides in there as well. My favorite ride was a roller coaster ride only it was a water roller coaster ride inside! My favorite part of this whole summer was going to ATV Adventures in Pennsylvania. I went with my dad and uncle. It was a huge trail that all of us rode our quads on it. There were jumps and turns like crazy. My uncle went into a huge mud hole which was two feet deep of mud. My summer was filled with so much fun stuff and now I am looking forward to come to school.

Thank-you for your letter. I’m happy to hear about the great summer you had. During the summer my family and I also did a lot. One day in late June we went to my Aunt Lisa’s house. We stayed there for three days. Right by the house, there is a boardwalk. While we were at my aunt’s house, we walked there every day! Right across from the boardwalk is a waterpark. It has big slides. It also has a big bucket. The bucket fills with water and every two minutes….the bucket falls. Ok, let’s go back to the boardwalk. At the boardwalk, there is a rollarcoaster called,The Wildcat. It is so cool,and it’s fast. It’s also a little scary. When you get off you are so pumped. At the waterpark, there are four slides that are a part of a tower. The first slide was ok. The second slide was great. And the third slide was awesome because it was black and you had no idea where you were. I didn’t go on the fourth one because, I didn’t have anyone sixteen and older with me, but other than that I had a good time. I did a lot more like, going to the ocean, in family pools, and the beach. This summer was great!

Dear Mrs. Angleman,
The first thing I did was swim at our lake. Then my family went to a lake in Monticello. I fished from a fishing boat, caught bass, and met my cousins from NH. My cousin David and his new family, Erica, Zack, and Ethan came up from NC. We went to NYC for a wedding party. Cousin David is in the Marines and is now in Iraq. My grandmother spent the summer with us. She lives in Florida, and has gone back because of the cold weather. While she was here we took her to many doctors. We spent the day at the fair. Our last trip was my family and 2 other families from Cub Scouts went camping in Hershey Park. Now I have been busy with football practice. See you soon.
This summer I started playing football for the first time. It was hard at first, but I am getting the hang of it. But, before football started I went to Seaside Heights with my family and Aunt and Cousin Tiffany. The shore was really fun I swam in the ocean everyday, hung out on the boardwalk, and we went on a green screen called bopping heads. My family and I also went to Virginia Beach this summer a couple times. I have two grandmothers that live there, and lots of family. It is always lots of fun, but the thing I hate the most is when we leave. But this summer I had best time, it was so much fun.
This summer I went to camp. I went on trips like laser tag, bowling, and the YMCA. Plus I made new friends like Kellie, Thalia, Emily and Reanna. I also went to the shore. I went to the beach with my cousins. That day I also went to the board walk and I went on gravatron, super loop, and my brother went on the sling shot. Last but not lease Disney World. On Monday I went to Epcot. On Tuesday I went to MGM and went on the Rock Roller coaster. On Wednesday I went to Magic Kingdom and went on Splash Mountain and we got soaking wet. On Thursday I went back to MGM and went on Tower of Terror. On Friday I went to Blizzard Beach and went on Mount Gushmore. It was a crazy water slide that went straight down. On Saturday I went to Magic Kingdom and went on Big Thunder Mountain. On Sunday, my last day, I went to Animal Kingdom and went on the Safari ride. I had a great time this summer!

Thank you for the letter.I had a great summer vacation.I went to my uncle Russel’s house.While I was there I went to the ocean and I found two horseshoe crabs.I went to Sandy Hook.I also learned a magic trick
I went to a county fair in PA, with my 2 brothers and his friend Johnny, my Dad was there my Mom was at work. It was a long ride and we brought our DS games, which we all shared each others games. When we got there we were way to early for rides and food but we walked around looking at things and the time passed like a slug. My brothers and Johnny went on a really cool ride named firebolt and it went a quarter way up and backwards , then all the way up and stayed upside down and started all over again. I went to Pleasant Acres Campground and went swimming and rode my bike and had a great time on Fridays when we would do ceramics because I love to paint things for my new room. I am glad to be a student in your class because I think you are a really nice teacher Miss Angelman. This is the end to my excitting story of my summer. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Brandon. Over the summer, I had a contest w/ my dad to see who could eat more shrimp. My dad won. For the 4th of July, we had a BIG BBQ and and HUGE fireworks!!!! I had many sleepovers with my friends. I also swam in my pool a lot. My summer was awesome!!!!
Thank you for your letter Mrs. Angelman. I had a great summer. My brother Taylor came up from Texas and spent some time with us. We rode our quads to the lake and went fishing. We also had a bon fire in our backyard and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. I know what it is like to have dogs. I have three dogs and each one is different. The two big dogs are really good but the smallest and youngest is trouble. My dogs like the summer as much as I do. They went swimming and enjoyed the outdoors too. Well I had a great time writing this paragraph were going to have a great school year.

Thank you so much for the letter. For my summer vacation my sister and I went to South Carolina to see my Grandma, Gaga, my aunt and my cousins. We spent 3 weeks there. Then with my aunt two counsins and sister, we spent a week in Lavallette, NJ. We had so much fun when we went to the beach. After that I went home for a week and then with my other grandma and cousins, we drove to Maine. We spent a week camping at Point Sebago Resort campground. Then we came home for two weeks and spent four days in North Carolina. Then we came home and got ready for school. Lets have a great year! Erika
My summer was absolutely wonderful . I played with my brothers. I got to go to my favorite place WILDWOOD! We played games and we went on rides. My favorite rides were the flitzer twice and the log floom twice. it was fun! I had a great time there. I didn’t want to leave, but I had to go. I had a great summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is David and I am going to tell you about my summer vacation. First I went down the shore. The first day I got there I fished and crabbed. The next day I went to the boardwalk at Point Pleasant. There I went on some fun rides. Then I went to the water part at Seaside with my friends. We had a great time. On Thursday I left.
